Green Street: Medium-Term Interest Rates Stall CRE Price Growth
The Green Street Commercial Property Price Index remained unchanged in October, with a 3% increase in the all-property index for the year. Medium-term interest rates have hindered expected property appreciation. While apartment prices rose 12% year-over-year, other sectors like malls and strip retail saw smaller gains, and industrial and healthcare properties remained stable.
